Join us as Chef Rino once again aims to impress and proposes:
- Freshly Shucked Oysters
- Selection of Tartare (Scallop, Salmon, Tuna)
- Moreton Bay Bug & King Prawn Catalana Salad
- House crumbed Calamari & King Prawn Cutlets
- Sauteed Black Tassie Mussels, Lemon & Pepper
- “Drowned” Barramundi” (Slow cooked in white wine, fish stock, fresh herbs and vegetables)
- Mandarin Parfait
For this Jazz session we are very excited to be joined by the fabulous Karen Anderson Quartet. Karen is one of Brisbane’s best known and much loved Jazz vocalists. Her band recently performed to yet another sell out audience at the Brisbane Jazz Club, and we cannot wait for her to perform at Pause!
Soak up their sounds of Jazz standards, bask in their Blues and Soul as you navigate the Seafood courses swimming before you. A memorable day ahead from 12 noon.

Welcome: Pizza Bianca c’a’ Mortazza (house made focaccia with mortadella).
Sharing entrees: Panzanella ( tomatoes bruschetta with old soggy bread), Trippa alla Romana (slow cook tripe with white wine, tomato, mint and pecorino cheese), Polpette di Melanzane con Spinaci alla Romana (Eggplant Balls, on sautéed spinach, pine nuts and sultanas.
Main: Bastardi cor Sugo di Coda (fettuccine based on flour, water and eggs served with slow cooked oxtail in tomato sauce)
Dessert: Pasticceria Secca (served with Muscat) : Brutti ma Boni (ugly but good), Ciambelline al Vino (dry small red wine flavoured donuts) , Tozzetti (nuts dry biscuits) e “Vin Santo”
